Coaching is a collaborative process geared towards creating successful outcomes for you, the client. While important breakthroughs and insights do happen in 1-on-1 sessions, successful outcomes depend largely on your degree of commitment and willingness to prioritize working towards your goal in between sessions and in your life in general.

Before applying, please consider how genuinely willing and able you are to make your goals a primary focus in life.

This application form will take approximately 45-60 minutes. Please answer each question as thoughtfully and honestly as you can. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed within 48 hours and you will receive a response via email within 7 business days. If the application is accepted you will be invited for a 30-minute exploratory call where we will decide together if we are good fit for each other. If we decide that we are indeed a good fit for each other, you will receive a signup link via email and will have one week to sign up for the program. If the link expires you will need to wait 1 month before you can apply again.

The coaching relationship is a powerful container for healing, transformation and growth, and the foundations of that container are honesty, trust and accountability.

While the coach and client will rely upon one another during the sessions, they will also rely upon what they bring to the sessions: their body-minds, intuitions, longings, attitudes, skills, capacities, experiences, personalitie, spirits etc.

Thus, the coaching relationship is best served when each of those aspects is relatively accessible and functioning within reason. To this end Ursula & Pearl is regretfully unikely to consider applications in the following instances:

• The applicant currently falls significantly outside the range of a healthy weight to height ratio AND is not currently undergoing professional treatment to rectify

• The applicant in unwilling to temporarily abstain from mind-altering substances such as recreational drugs, alcohol and cannabis. Perscription meditation excluded. The use of tobacco may be permissible in certain instances.

• An applicant's current treatment team (if one exists) is unable to come to a conclusion about or deems coaching to be an unsuitable resource for the applicant at this time.

Privacy and confidentiality are of the highest priority and importance at Ursula & Pearl. We understand that much of what is shared within this form and within sessions if of a highly sensitive and personal nature. Under no circumstances whatsoever will any of your information be shared with anyone without your consent. The only acception to this rule would be in the case where an applicant or client's life was at risk.

Applicant information is stored in compliance with GDPR and international data privacy laws.

Information submitted on the application form is immediately deleted upon completion of either (1) rejection of the application or (2) completion or termination of the coaching program.

The programs at Ursula & Pearl are intended as a compliment to, or a next step after, medical treatment and intervention for an eating disorder.

Our programs do not include nutritional or medical counselling, advice or guidance. We do not create or offer meal plans, nor will we advise on meal plans created by other professionals.

Though our work is therapeutic in nature, we do not offer psychotherapy.

Though we are trauma informed, we are not licensed trauma professionals.

As coaches our field is unrgulated, which affords us the freedom of leveraging many creative tools and ineventions in our work without requiring the privilege and resources needed to obtain specific credentials.

At Ursula & Pearl it is our primary objective to support our clients in permanently transcending and integrating the eating disorder paradigm in pursuit of what is most meaningful and life-giving to our clients.

Our work will likely bring you to and beyond your edges and horizons, it will challenge you and ask a lot of you, and it is our commitment that this process be carried our with the maximum level of integrity, compassion and support possible. Thus where it could be beneficial, we are open to advising and collaborating with member of the applicants family and/or current treatment team.
